Anytime you practice Boxing, Muay Thai or Kickboxing be sure to ‘wrap’ correctly. If your practicing with good technique and placement you should never have a problem. Just like if you are driving safely, you SHOULD never have an accident. But wrapping your hand is just like wearing your seat belt. You do it EVERY TIME just in case!
As your footwork improves your foot-speed will naturally increase. This is true if you are training in Muay Thai, Aikido, Sword and Bo weapons. It’s a good idea to protect your ankles as much as you do your wrist!
